Before and After Photos - Dashboards

When a dashboard is damaged it is extremely costly and time consuming to install a replacement, usually ranging into the thousands of dollars. In addition to the normal labor costs, very often a seperate call needs to be made to technicians who specifically deal with airbags, alarms, and stereo systems. This, combined with the need to order parts that most shops do not stock, often results in down time of a week or more.

Dash repair is an extremely cost-effective alternative. Below are some examples of the kinds of dashboard repairs that are possible. We have a separate page specifically dealing with information on peeling dashes.

Very often we get calls about large sun cracks or splits in the dashes of classic cars. Unfortunately, these are usually not repairable. The problem with these 20 year or older dashes is that the surrounding material has become extremely brittle, and is not structurally sound enough to hold a repair. We liken the process to trying to glue a broken potato chip back together. That being said, we are always happy to take a look at your specific vehicle, and estimates are always free.
